Coco et Fraise was one of our beloved customers who travelled on the Dragon Legend cruise to explore Halong Bay in the last 2016. There is not much information about her private life or about herself on website. But we were very impressive about how she felt about life and how she travelled around the world, through the eyes of a bear, which is very cute and creative.
“This is the story of a bear on a mission. She travels to break barriers and build bridges around the world. She shares what she likes to see, feel and learn in her diaries.” – that is what she said about her stories. In every picture, on her website or on her social media, we easily get attention on the brown bear-head. The lovely bear on the road with many interesting stories about life, about the experience and people she met on the way to travel.
Let’s follow the bear to discover Halong Bay – the World Heritage Site on Dragon Legend cruise!
My festive outlook is looking blue 😀
Peace and love to you all!💙
Bed testing done. What’s next?
The day I learned how to drop anchor in Vietnamese seas.
And this my dear Watson, is one fine example of why I travel.
“My name is Captain Sindbad and I want to tell you about my job. I get to take my team and eager tourists on a journey around an area of outstanding beauty. I have to make sure I steer my baby, the Dragon Legend 2, safely around the 1669+ islets. It might be the same route but every day feels different. Winters bring foggy weather. Summer brings more traffic. The best part of my job is the one that you don’t see.
My flip flops 😉”
All clear ahead, Captain 😁 let’s get this ship moving. No icebergs here.
I don’t usually stay still but some foggy landscapes simply command your attention.
I first tried yoga because I wanted to be able to touch my toes again. I fell asleep on the mat after 5 mins through an app. It was the best mini power nap ever.
The bear saw the manager of the Dragon Legend 2 approaching him slowly with a cushion as a shield 🤔 We realised it was not an attempt on Bear’s life when the crew made kungfu noises to give us some hints. We should have been in character like the manager aka Master Shifu!!!
Thanks to the crew for bringing out the Po in me 🙅🏻
When you don’t want to fight anymore because all you want to do is stare.
Waiting for the fairy godmother to appear so that I can finally go to a ball.
“That’s what sailing is, a dance, and your partner is the sea. And with the sea you never take liberties. You ask her, you don’t tell her. You have to remember always that she’s the leader, not you. You and your boat are dancing to her tune.” – Michael Morpungo, Alone on a wide wide sea
All the passengers I spoke to loved that there was no wifi for 3 days on this Ha Long Bay cruise. The saltwater pool felt like one of the substitutes. The view is a free option:)
Hello, this is your Captain Bear speaking. I hope you have been enjoying the journey so far. Now if you look ahead, you will see some islets. There is always one, standing out among the crowd 💫
Have a good day.
Not only did we experience the cruise of a lifetime among a picturesque backdrop but also our first complimentary Tai Chi lesson.
I was seriously impressed with the energy flow. I had already met the instructor the night before while fishing for squid in the dark blue. The next day I saw two crew members operating the anchor so I went to help 😁
It was the Tai Chi Instructor/Fisherman again!
Verdict: Multitude of skills
“Hi, my name is Thomas! Part of my job is to make passengers feel welcome during their stay on the Dragon Legend II. I think it is similar to bringing a guest in your home. A curious mind and a genuine smile goes a long way.
Tea also helps 😀”
We all make mistakes. So when you realise you have the wrong room, you act cool 😁
Have a good day!
P.S. Who else has done this??
Thinking back to my digital detox in Halong Bay. I am looking forward to my next one starting this Friday until Monday afternoon.
I finally have my last exam for this year coming up. If you see a bear singing Final countdown or Sacrifice in London, come say hi!
Good morning 😃
Today’s thought is from Oscar Wilde in The Picture of Dorian Gray.
“One’s days were too brief to take the burden of another’s errors on one’s shoulders. Each man lived his own life and paid his own price for living it.”
When the cruise is over and Bear has to leave her room 🙃
